We understand that commissioning a brand, design or marketing project is a business investment. To ensure our creative thinking keeps sight of your goals and to ensure consistency in our approach, we follow the Double Diamond Design Process Model.
Developed as a result of research at the Design Council, the Double Diamond model is divided into four phases or modes of thinking that we use during design – Discover, Define, Develop, Deliver.
We start the project with an exploratory workshop to gain a clear insight into your business and a detailed understanding of your requirements. The aim of this phase is to work with you to fully scope out the project and set key objectives.
This is about mapping the territory. We focus on the important issues that arose from the Discover phase and we identify how we can help you achieve your objectives.
Here we explore different ways to tackle the problems identified. This is the point where we begin to produce design concepts, wireframes and mock-ups. Based on your feedback these design concepts are refined to produce the final concept.
It’s in the final phase where everything goes into production and we work towards delivering or launching the solution.

Florian Zumfelde, Creative
In a creative career spanning 17 years, Florian has a wealth of experience in brand, print and digital design.
A Graphic Media Design graduate of the prestigious London College of Communications, Florian spent his early career in London at a leading creative agency for the music industry before deciding to head to the South West to set up his own studio.
Over the last 10 years, Florian has led the studio in creating, developing and evolving brand identities and design solutions for a broad range of organisations.
Carla Zumfelde, Marketing
Carla’s marketing expertise is grounded in brand strategy, strategic marketing planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
Before joining StudioZumfelde Carla spent 14 years working in marketing roles in blue chip organisations, professional services and healthcare IT. It is this wealth of ‘client’ experience and insight that proves invaluable to the way we work at StudioZumfelde.
Carla provides our clients with strategic brand and marketing direction and day-to-day marketing support.
